what would you you or how would you feel if you lived next to hiddles or cumbers bumbers? :)
I would never ever leave the neighbourhood and maybe stalk them? :D
But, to be quite honest, I’d probably get completely used to it. Actually, I live a mere few houses away from one of the most famous actors in my country, a fantastic, award-winning actor, and I don’t even think about it. He’s just a neighbour who comes to borrow stuff from us occasionally, and every now and then we have coffee together, and when I see him, I never think, “OMG, he’s that actor.” His wife is my aunt’s best friend and so sometimes we get good theatre seats, but other than that, no biggie, to be honest. If anything, he likes to drive fast and it annoys me if it so happens that he gets to drive behind me when we leave our homes at the same time. I’m like, “Dude, slow the hell down and get off my ass, I ain’t going any faster, I’m already driving faster than I should be.” LOL
So, maybe I’d be entirely ecstatic for a week or two to have Benedict or Tom as my neighbour, considering the fact that they are world-famous and that I love the shit out of them, but then I’d get used to their presence, I’m sure. At the end of the day, we’re all just people, and neighbours are just that - neighbours (obviously not meant to be a deep statement, but you get the gist of it haha).
“You are always
ticking inside of me and I dream of you
more often than I don’t.
My body is a dead language
and you pronounce
each word perfectly.”—Sierra DeMulder, excerpt from “Unrequited Love Poem” (via engagemachine)
