I’ll drink to that, sister. ;)

hallucifernations replied to your post: Writing problems
I’ve got so many webpages about guns and killing sprees open right now that I would NOT be surprised if the police came knocking on my door… WE’RE WRITERS, DAMN IT
Absolutlich yes.:) I always have a crime-related webpage open, every time I’m online, so I can relate to that. But best reason ever: WE’RE WRITERS, DAMN IT. And damn it, that makes us just a bit fabulous.

“Ssssh, keep your voice down,” Sally urged her companions, glancing over her shoulder. “I couldn’t get them out of the house, so we need to be quiet and, above all, try not to look too suspicious.”
Thomas chuckled. “You have suspicious written on your forehead.”
“Oh, shut up.”
“You shut up.”
Anna sighed loudly, rolling her eyes in an obvious manner to showcase her annoyance. “You should both stop talking right about now.” She cleared her throat. “They are in the living room, watching the telly, oblivious to us. And we are in the garden so they can’t hear us unless you two idiots can’t keep your voices down. Just pretend we’re having a normal conversation.”
“We can’t ever hold a normal conversation,” Thomas said and Anna smacked him on the head.
“Stop it, you two,” Sally spoke urgently, “mom is looking through the window.”
“So?” Anna retorted. “Look, if mom and dad come outside, we’ll just start talking about… making pancakes for dinner.”
Thomas snorted. “That the best you can come up with?”
“D’you have a better idea, brother dearest?”
Sally was twirling a lock of hair nervously. “Stop it, you two. Let’s just talk about the surprise party for mom and dad’s twentieth wedding anniversary.”
“Are you… actually tearing up, Sal? You’re such a cry baby,” Thomas teased and Anna flattened her palm against his head a second time.
“Oi!” Thomas exclaimed and Anna grinned.
Sally hugged her knees and started to gnaw on her lower lip. “At this pace, we’ll never be able to arrange the surprise party, and all of it just because you two twin idiots can’t stop bickering for a single second.”
“Okay, fine,” Thomas said, “I’ve had this idea for a while. I think it’s good.”
“Oh, since when do you think, Thom?” Anna couldn’t help mocking him and burst into laughter.
Sally looked at the sky and sighed miserably. Every year the same crap. She couldn’t wait to move out.
(I wanted to write something light and silly for a change, or this would have been yet another dark-thriller plot…)
I was tagged
By wordsstillstranger. Thank you!
Rule 1: always post the rules.
Rule 2: answer the questions the person who tagged you has written and write 11 new ones.
Rule 3: tag 11 new people and link them to your post.
Rule 4: let them know you’ve tagged them
1. Anything you regret?
I do, a few things, mostly that, sometimes, I didn’t have enough courage to do something right then and there, and then I missed a golden opportunity. But I’ve learned not to grieve over missed opportunities because there are always more to come eventually.
2. A thing everyone thinks you’re good at (whether you actually are or not)?
People who meet me for the first time, in real life or on Tumblr, always assume I’m great at drawing, for some reason (maybe because I like art and books and pretty photos?), which amuses me to no end because I really can’t draw. I’d say I am a good writer; I’d like them to assume that more often.
3. A song which reminds you of your childhood?
Hand in My Pocket, by Alanis Morissette. When I was a kid, my cousin and I would listen to Alanis together and we both loved this song, so whenever I hear this song, it immediately takes me back to my childhood spent with my cousin.
4. The most fantastical thing you think people will take for granted in 50 years:
People seem to take everything for granted in this age, so it’s hard to speculate. But I think the internet will definitely be among them. I wouldn’t say food will be, considering how poverty and famine continue to spread.
5. Is there something you wouldn’t ever want to read about?
Well, there are things I’m not interested in/that quickly bore me, so probably sociology or philosophy books, something along those lines. Actually, I’ve tried many different genres and topics, so it’s more a question of what I don’t want to read about again, and my answer to that would be: about concentration camps. I think it was a necessary read, but I don’t ever want to go there again. It was too heart-breaking and painful.
6. What could you talk about for hours?
Books, movies, TV shows. I think wordsstillstranger and I proved it this last Sunday. :)
7. Your first fandom?
LOTR. Still going strong.
8. What do you hope no one will ever say to you?
“You can’t write.” That would really break my spirit, I think. Of course, I don’t think anyone wants to hear about a bad diagnosis concerning one’s health, either, so that too.
9. Your favourite dessert?
Just chocolate, any kind of chocolate. I’m really not that complex when it comes to this. During the summer, though, I am very fond of the Stracciatella Gelato. Best ice-cream flavour.
10. Cats or dogs?
Cats. I love cats.
11. A wish?
Just one? I won’t tell it, so that it may actually come true. :)

- If you had to live one whole year with only 5 movies/TV shows to keep you company, which ones would you choose?
- If you had to live one whole year with only 3 books at your disposal, which ones would you choose?
- What are you like when you’re drunk (provided you have been drunk, or get drunk every now and then)?
- When it comes to traffic, what are you pet peeves?
- What’s your favourite curse word?
- If you had a time machine, would you rather travel to the past or the future?
- Do you snore or talk in your sleep?
- Do you believe in life after death, reincarnation or neither?
- Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus: true, or “this is bullshit”?
hallucifernations said: that’s awesome! Just ask if you need any help/tips. Not that I’m one of the “great” gifmakers of tumblr or anything, but I know a thing or two. :)
Thanks very much! I think you make great gifs, and I’ll definitely ask you a thing or two as I go along with it. :)
hallucifernations said: aaaah when did you start making gifs? :D
Only yesterday, haha. :D A friend showed me how to do them, and then I gave into the temptation, and now I’m making gifs. Still learning and experimenting, but I’m getting there because this is super fun. :D
wordsstillstranger replied to your post: Regarding villains (a few random thoughts)
Yes! You can love a character for who he is as a whole, but don’t make excuses for his bad side. I definitely agree with what you say on those three. Also, poeple who do that & confuse the characters with the actors don’t do any favour to either.
thequartrmaster replied to your post: Regarding…
Hey, I totally understand. It gets me really angry sometimes, too. But it is what it is, as much as I hate to say that. Definitely doesn’t change how I feel about the OOC portrayals but… what can you do but sit back and make fun of it all? ;)
hallucifernations replied to your post: Regarding villains (a few random thoughts)
Man, don’t even get me started. I understand and agree with everything you wrote here.
*****
Yeah, my frustration just had to get out eventually, and it’s cool you guys agree.:)
Cheers, fellow villain lovers.

hallucifernations replied to your post: hallucifernations replied to your post: Batman’s…
did you get the other part of my reply? because otherwise this makes almost no sense on its own BUT ANYWAY I totally agree. I’m not a big fan of the Batman voice myself, but who cares, I care about good story/writing/acting
Yeah, I did, I just don’t know how to put both your comments together. :D But yes, it IS all about the story and the elements that come with it.
hallucifernations replied to your post: Batman’s voice
understanding goes… that’s weird. I mean, with such a big film crew you’d think they’d have ‘fixed’ it if it really WAS that hard to understand. So I’d say it’s an exaggeration because they just don’t like it?
I agree with all you said. I do feel this is an exaggeration, but what is stupid is the fact that there’s an actual fandom war going on because of the voice of Bale’s Batman. Is this really what fans want to focus on, the nit-picking, and the stories themselves? UGH. The voice isn’t that bad. I personally like it. It’s not perfect, but is Batman perfect? Nope.
hallucifernations replied to your post: So, I’ve been doing some research for a week,…
GIVE IT TO ME NOW
I promise I will! Just give me a month, two tops. This is a project I will finish (wow, let’s not mention the other five that are only half done and should be finished by the end of 2013), and I intend to finish it as fast as I can. :D Thanks for the interest!

from the third book on, it’s always 1000+ pages, so good luck. :D
Aha…. Martin is insane, but at least he is a great writer. :)
hallucifernations replied to your post: The Raven (thoughts on the movie)
I basically agree with everything you said, except for the fact that I figured out who the murderer was before the reveal, so it wasn’t that big a shock to me? :/
You did? That’s really cool! I usually guess, but with this movie, I just didn’t. By the end of the movie, I forgot about the dude. If I hadn’t, I might have seen it all coming. I guess I’ll have to see the movie again (won’t be a problem for me, haha). I still maintain the killer should have been more involved in the movie, just so the revelation could have a better impact. I wish there were more period crime movies out there. There’s something special about the lack of modern gadgets and no fingerprint matches or CCTV cameras.

please I’ve done enough shopping with him I wish our relationship would get to the next step already :D
I ship you with PJ, and I’m not even kidding. You’d be great together and he likes to shop with you, so yeah, now kiss, you two.
hallucifernations replied to your post: hallucifernations replied to your post: I actually…
not even joking, I had a dream with me and PJ being in a supermarket once… is this a thing? :D
… what? Wow, that’s a coincidence! Maybe that’s some sort of Ransone Syndrome thing. You see his face and watch his interviews, and then you cry, curse like a sailor and shop with him while sleeping. :D
