An avid reader, supposed movie buff and wannabe writer, interested in (Victorian) literature, period/fantasy/thriller/action/superhero movies, comic books and mythology.

You can always count on me reblogging: Marvel (mostly Loki and Thor, and X-Men), Sherlock, Tolkien, Supernatural, DC Comics, various villains and thrillers/crime movies, stuff about writing, mythology and a bunch of other cool things.

Reblog with a screencap of your desktop. NO CLEANING.

I’m writing and I need to kill a character, which is hard to do when you’re in a really good mood and can only think about nice things, even if the character is a douche.

lglorien and movies (Tom Hiddleston-style)

I might have been imagining things (too much chocolate in one day=sugar rush=possible hallucinations), but I received three anonymous asks, all of them including the question: “What is your favourite movie?”

So, since I’ve just seen Tom Hiddleston’s Questionnaire with Claudia Winkleman for BBC1, I’m answering the questions by adding a few, in the style of that questionnaire (slightly adapted, since I’m not an actress and can’t answer questions related to the profession).

Favourite films (I’m giving you my Top 5 movies): Edward Scissorhands, A Beautiful Mind, Primal Fear, the LOTR trilogy (I count it as one movie), The Crow.

Big disappointment: The Illusionist

Guilty pleasure: Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I’ll watch this whenever it’s on TV.

Tearjerker: Titanic. I only need to see the opening and I’m getting ready for tears.

I hope that satisfies your curiosity.
